CAU is now offering speech therapy to individuals in New Jersey!

Our licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) can travel to meet with you or your family member for one-to-one support.

Whether you require assistance with speech, language, cognition or communication skills, we can help with training personalized for your needs. Our SLP is trained to assess communication issues and develop and implement a plan for success.

CAU also offers assistive technology services that may supplement speech therapy, such as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). AAC may include low, mid, or high-tech devices to assist with communication for minimally or non-speaking individuals. Ask us about technology that can assist you with communication at home, in the workplace, or in the classroom or community.

What is Speech Therapy?

Speech therapy assesses and treats speech disorders and problems with communication.

Speech-language pathologists (SLPs), often referred to as speech therapists, use a variety of techniques to improve communication, including articulation therapy and language intervention techniques.

Why do you Need Speech Therapy?

Speech therapy can improve speech and language difficulties such as articulation (speech sound) disorders, stuttering and other dysfluencies, aphasia, and receptive/expressive language disorders.
