Program Description
One 2 BR, 1 bath apartment opening for a man whose housemates will be between the ages of 42 and 55. He will have his own bedroom and share common areas. He will live with one other man with interests in movies, videos, and going to restaurants.
Highly trained direct support professionals (DSPs) are available 24 hours per day. One highly trained DSP is onsite overnight, one DSP from 3-11 PM every day and one DSP from 8 AM – 11PM on the weekends.
Staff are trained in diabetes management, menu planning, insulin administration, seizure management, and other specialized training to ensure we meet the needs of the person.
Includes Nursing and behavioral oversight. Individual nursing and behavior supports are available as needed.
Home is equipped with sprinkler system and backup generator. The apartment is located a few blocks from shopping and a neighborhood park.
