Mohamed Koroma, Associate Executive Director of Residential Services

Mohamed A. Koroma serves as Associate Executive Director at Community Access Unlimited, where he provides executive oversight for residential and support service programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities. With more than 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the human services and developmental disabilities sector, Mohamed has built a strong reputation for operational excellence, regulatory compliance, staff development, and person-centered service delivery.

Throughout his career, Mohamed has held a variety of leadership roles across respected organizations in New Jersey, including Community Access Unlimited, Friends of Cyrus II, APluscare Behavioral Health, and the ARC of Somerset. His professional journey began as a Direct Support Professional and advanced through multiple operational and executive leadership positions, giving him a comprehensive understanding of residential services at every level.

Prior to rejoining CAU as Associate Executive Director in 2026, Mohamed served as Vice President of Operations at Friends of Cyrus II, where he led residential and administrative operations across DDD-licensed programs. He has extensive experience overseeing compliance initiatives, quality assurance programs, incident management, staffing operations, budgeting, and interdisciplinary collaboration with families, guardians, clinical providers, and state agencies.

Mohamed is recognized for his strategic leadership, strong commitment to regulatory excellence, and passion for improving outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate care while supporting organizations in achieving operational and service excellence.

He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University, and an Associate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Sierra Leone.
