Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) is an electronic device that enables individuals to secure help in an emergency. The individual may wear a portable ‘help’ button to allow for emergency mobility assistance. In an emergency situation, pressing the ‘help’ button directs the individual’s phone to signal a response center that will dispatch assistance. The service may include the purchase, installation, a monthly service fee, or all of the above. All systems require prior approval by DDD.
CAU can recommend a qualified vendor for a PERS system for any individual in need of this service. Contact us below for more information.
