Goods & Services

Often individuals with disabilities need a service, equipment or supply to assist their independence.  Through Goods & Services, individuals may access services, equipment and supplies that cannot be obtained through natural resources and meet the following requirements:

  • the item or service would decrease the need for other Medicaid services
  • the item or service will promote inclusion in the community
  • the item or service will increase the participants safety in the home
  • the participant does not have the funds to purchase the item or the service is not available through another source

Examples of Goods & Services include classes, a garage door opener for easier access to the home, durable medical equipment, or admission and activity fees for local programs.

Some goods & services that may be offered through CAU are:

  • Property Management
  • Cleaning Crew Services
  • Landscaping & Snow Removal
