Occupational, Physical, or Speech/Language/Hearing Therapy are essential to any individual’s service plan. Services may be rehabilitative or habilitative in nature. Rehabilitative services in are only provided once the limit of therapy services approved in the state plan is exhausted.
These services can be delivered by an appropriate health care professional and can be provided on an individual or small group basis. A small group would consist of 1 therapist to every 5 participants.
