Personal Assistance Services Program (PASP)

The Personal Assistance Services Program (PASP) at CAU will assist the self-direction of non-medical assistance to adults with disabilities who are employed, involved in community volunteer work, or attend school.

Personal assistants help with tasks such as light housekeeping, bathing, dressing, preparing meals, shopping, driving, or using public transportation. The number of hours of help that a person receives depends on individual need – up to 40 hours.

Eligibility:
– must be a New Jersey Resident
– physically disabled
– between 18 and 70 years old
– living in the community
– capable of self-directing services
– employed, preparing for employment, in school, or actively volunteering in the community.

Community Access Unlimited Self Directed Services will no longer serve as the Fiscal Management Service & Counseling Agency for the Personal Preference Program at the NJ Division of Disability Services.

As a result, all inquiries regarding the Personal Preference Program must be made directly to the news fiscal intermediary,  Public Consulting Group’s Public Partnerships, LLC (PPL).  The counseling services have commenced as of April 1st and the fiscal management services will cease on July 1st.

During this transition period, all questions regarding counseling services should be directed to PPL at (844) 880-8702.
